01 / Is this the right shop?

Vehicles and services

Do you work on my make and model?

JJs Garage does not work on imports. If you drive something else, call with the year, make and model, plus the work you need, and the shop can tell you whether that job fits. Having this ready before you call means you get a clear yes or no sooner.

What services does JJs Garage offer?

The shop does oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, brake repairs and general auto repair. That covers routine maintenance as well as broader repairs. Each service has its own page if you'd like more detail before calling.

Where is the shop?

JJs Garage is at 3343 main St Cary il. Directions are linked at the bottom of this page. Call first to arrange a visit rather than just showing up with the vehicle.

02 / Repairs and costs

Before any work starts

My check-engine light is on. What should I do?

A warning light can mean many things, and a stored code on its own doesn't tell you which repair is needed. If the light is flashing, or the car runs noticeably rough, it's generally safer not to keep driving. Call the shop to talk about the concern under general auto repair, and ask then about any cost involved in finding the cause.

Will I get a price before work is done?

Estimates and approvals are worth settling at the start. When you call, ask how the shop handles estimates and how you'll be contacted before any extra work goes ahead. Get the answer from the shop itself, not from assumptions based on other garages.

Is the repair covered by a warranty?

Warranty terms vary from shop to shop and depend on the part and the job. Ask JJs Garage directly about coverage for parts and labor on your specific repair before you approve the work.

Is it safe to drive with brake noise?

As general advice: if the pedal sinks, stopping feels weaker, or the car pulls hard when braking, stop driving and arrange other transport for the vehicle. Milder squeals are still worth having looked at soon. Brake repairs are one of the shop's main services.

03 / Planning the visit

Hours, drop-off and timing

Are you open on weekends?

Yes. Saturday and Sunday hours are 7am to noon. On weekdays the hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm. These are business hours, not booked times, so call to set up a visit.

How do I make an appointment?

By phone, at 777-676-5432. Calls about repairs and appointments are the main way to reach the shop. No email address or online booking is listed, so a call is the reliable route.

Can I drop my car off early or after hours?

No early or after-hours key drop has been announced. If you need to drop off or pick up outside normal hours, ask on the phone instead of leaving the vehicle or keys without an agreement.

How long will my car be in the shop? Is there a loaner?

Timing depends on the job, the parts and the shop's schedule. Loaners, shuttles and waiting areas aren't listed, so ask about expected timing and your transport options when you arrange the visit.

How often do I need an oil change or tire rotation?

As general guidance, follow your owner's manual, which gives intervals by mileage and time. Heavy use such as towing, lots of short trips or long periods idling can mean servicing sooner. Your service records show what was done last.
